Not really. OP is a thumbwhore because he posted a picture asking you to press the shortcut for green thumb and next, and saying something will happen when nothing does, so basically is one because he requested thumbs. It would be the same if someone said thumbs up at the end of their content as well.

Not necessarily, many post content because they want to show something to the community, or maybe see people's reaction to their creation. I can see where you're coming from though.

Well, I think you can post for those reasons that I gave but still be happy if you do receive thumbs, so you don't go out of your way to disable them. That's how I would be if I posted content.
