About the second one. Black holes do not emit light or the glow that you are talking about. The area close around it does and that is what our sensors pick up. Black holes themselves do not because the if anything goes into a black hole it will never escape because the escape velocity at the event horizon is the speed of light, and since nothing can travel faster then the speed of light nothing can escape.
Fun fact about Black Holes though, it is theoretically possible to survive for one second when going into a supermassive black hole in the center of galaxies. This is because of its size. A smaller black hole has a much greater effect of matter because it has to crush everything down to the singularity is a shorter amount of time, but because the size of the supermassive black hole it takes longer so technically if you go into a supermassive black hole you will be able to see what lies inside a black hole; but only for a second.

Actually, while entering a black hole you may survive for what appears to be at least an hour thanks to time dilation. Sure, you only experience it as a second, but if someone on the outside could see you, you would appear to them as if you were moving in extreme slow motion.
In reality both are true, because the speed at which time passes is not a fixed value. Though if one has to be said to be more real than the other, it would have to be the unaltered one, for which it takes hours, because the other is dependent on the gravitational pull of the black hole for time to slow down.
There is only one reality and on fake reality, the fake reality is that you have survived for an hour but the actual reality is once you go past the event horizon you get stretched and squished and then eventually ripped apart. The fake reality is an illusion past on how strong the gravitation pull of the black hole.
