It's pretty simple, after the hole is cut with a glass/tile drillbit (like $10) so it doesn't shatter, just insert a top hat shaped rubber grommet and slide the downstem through just use an appropriately sized downstem, grommet, and drillbit to keep it airtight but still all removable for easy cleaning.

Unless you're infusing it with vodka each use, it seems kinda hipster-y.
Good craftsmanship though. If you ever need to hide it all you'd have to do is use your hand.

Never put alcohol in a bong, THC almost completely dilutes in it which means you're just breathing in smoke and nothing else. And wouldn't need to hide from parents like some 14 year old poser, just though this would be a nice addition to the collection.
