you can usually tell which way the door unlocks by turning the tension wrench both directions...the direction that has the most give is usually the way to unlock the door

Yes depending on the type of lock. Ones with a bolt that has left for lock right for unlock he'll be able to get past but if the lock has a latch he needs to not only pick it but turn it while opening the door.

So all you need to do is have 2 latch locks (any more and you couldn't open them yourself..unless you're an octopus) and have the others as bolts.

Only way an intruder could get past this is if he was using 2 lockpick guns, as a normal lockpick kit requires 2 hands while opening 1 lock
