It is pretty girly, but it's still hilarious.
But then again, if you worry about shit being girly then you'll miss out on great stuff like Lucky Star and Nichijou. The art style and setting may be girly, but the shows are really funny.

As for if Liru bites you...IDK. I mean, technically they are all from alternate dimensions of monsters (that somehow are the same alternate universe as they all know each other from before coming to earth from their respective universes). A werewolf from an alternate universe isn't really human, so the virus might not infect humans.
