The cybermen (humanoid robots) are this race of robots that go around forcefully converting people into cybermen because they believe they are better at, well, everything.

The daleks (turret things) are a race of genocidal little slugs that ride around in these tanks and want to destroy all life that isn't them. They view all life, especially humans, as being several orders of magnitude lesser than themselves.

Because the cybermen place such emphasis on being better than humans, it's a burn that the daleks only consider them to be better at dying.
