That's retarded. The holiday celebrates the signing of the Declaration, not the time King George (probably) wiped his ass with it. Who the **** cares when it got to the British? Parliament had already declared the colonists traitors to the crown.

How is it fake if the king of England at the time refused to read the letter because he was so mad at the colonies. So just it reaching England makes it a holiday? When the **** did this tradition start?
