Punk never really died. People took it as fashion.

Pic related, my fav band, hardcore/crust (newer albums have such lyrics) punk band Purgen from Russia.

The only people who say punks dead are the people who have no idea what punks about. Even today there are ********* of punk bands. Hell, the last 10 years turned out some of the best bands I've ever heard. The Suicide File, Striking Distance, Leftover Crack, Cheap Sex, Bullet Treatment, I could go on for a while.

If ya Like punk from Russia, check out The Poseurs.

I know them. They're more of ska punk kind.

If it's russian, then I listen to Tanzilit, Purgen and Grun Eiter. I can't remember some other bands from over there.

I love Crust Punk and Anarcho Punk and I'm recently getting interested in Grindcore, Deathgrind, PornoGrind and ThrashGrind.

Crust band I got into that is probably one of the only good things to come from the Bush Presidency is Behind Enemy Lines. You've probably already heard of em. Them and Naseau got me into crust a bit more. Usually just stuck to the anarcho, hardcore, and some ska-punk.
