Lower stomach, How much we talking about, i would suggest a fairly low rate of cardio every day, keeping the heart rate at 132-142, about 60% of your maximum, which is low, but then only burns body fat, not muscle, I know its boring, but it pays off. obviously cause' of the low intensity, you will be able to go for a hour granted you have the time allowance, but the longer you keep your heart rate above 132, and below 142, the faster you will burn out any remaining fat. I had a pretty similar issue for a month. If you get a little bit of skin there making it look like fat maybe? try growing your lats/traps a little, it will tighten up the lower abdomen skin, I also had to do that

Yea...lower heart rate will most likely do it....It's not a lot of fat, it's just kinda...there if you know what I mean

Yeah, them 2 areas are currently my favorite
Firstly, look at the compund
lats - pull ups/wide grip lat pull down/close grip pull downs
traps - Shrugs

Then once you have gained some mass, go for the asthetics (high range, lower weights) which for lats is initially the same

traps - Upright rows (bringing elbows high, go wider grip than normal)
- drop sets on shrugs
Theres a shit load for traps, but these two are the motherland imo, also deadlift is the king of all work outs for traps/back/legs/core

also a cardio-muscular exercise followed by triceps, lats, chest, and forearm
an ab routine that should feel like cardio and the rest is essential because it gives the muscle time to recover and get ready for the next workout
which usually constitutes soreness if you don't stretch properly

Stretching is everything, But as ive said several times, i genuinely dont lift much, i train for effective muscle, mostly plyometrics and sprints, I fight, so just focusing on lifting weights would destroy my career. i feel ab routines should be done every other day ideally. and should be at a very high intensity, about time some one knew this shit commented.

yeah same issue here after a few weeks of vit b complex my piss was golden and I was worried so I saw my nutritionist and she said it's cool it's normal just to hydrate more often than usual and maybe consume less sugars oh my bad i've been a weight trainer and follower for a few years and the rda can be increased with olive oil, mix that shit in your shakes and you get healthier calories if that was your question at all
ah yes i've heard good things about the plyometrics but never gotten the will to try it

I would train around 2-3 hours a day. 6 days a week, and then leading up to fights, technical training would be 8 hours a day.

I actually eat a fuck load, more than when i was overweight, but! its clean, low sat fat foods, and i eat 8 times a day, to keep metabolism at a very high rate, i consume maybe 4100 kcal per day, but im 6'3 and 205 lbs.

foods would consist of alot of fresh lean meats, 8 egg whites, 2 cups of brown rice, cottage cheese, and protein shakes. Its actually cheaper than a "regular" diet what a normal person eats day to day.

As ive said, i dont train aesthetics like most people would, i train in MMA as im a cage fighter, which consists of boxing/thai boxing/kick boxing/thai kwon do and ju jitsu, i lift once every 3 months on a 6 week cycle, doing 5x5 training (google it, its impressive) to keep strength up.

I really want to start training myself but the lack of a decent cheap gym near me is really putting me off, that and the fact I have no idea what I'm doing at all when it comes to training. Training at home gets me nowhere as it's so much harder to motivate at home. The only gym near me costs £45 a month which is $70, being a student I cannot afford this :(

Im from the UK, I know how it feels with finances, If im honest, Nothing beats a nice run in the morning followed by a shower, Granted it means waking up a hour earlier, But it leaves you feeling great for the day, would really enhance your focus in college too. Also benefits from a hour of just thinking about random things while you run. Ive cleared up so many self issues while doing that.

Yeah, p90X is for guys who need a start and have no direction, Once you figure out how the body works best for you, its time to move on, as no 1 person gets the same gains from the same work outs.

I agree, 45 minutes is fine. I only speak from my perception. Im a professional fighter, Thats my job, 45 minute work outs are a great start, but after a year of doing them you will hit a platue, even with the application of "muscle confusion" the body will adapt, Thats human nature.

Yeah, that loose skin thing is not a good look, and generally they gain weight because of it. which is a pitty, because if they did 6 months of high intensity weights, they would fill out and look pretty solid. 245 is a great weight for 6'5. im 205 most of the time, but i like to be around 210 if i have nothing coming up as i feel more at home there

i was about 310, down to 225 in them 5 months, Now im 205, but i was 18% body fat in the good side of that photo, im now 7%, so ive gained around 15 lbs of muscle since, and lost the rest in excess body fat

5x5 training and high protein diet, with a good amount of carbs and fats to build pure lean muscle, you might need to add some aesthetics training into the works to add tone to the mass.

But for you, maximum size comes from 5x5 training, and a high kcalorie diet, a shit load of meat and Essential fatty acids, i recommend whey protein too, non of that expensive shit, some cheap stuff does the same job.
I recently had to put on 11 lbs in 3 weeks, managed 9 lbs of muscle, 2 lbs of fat. so i know what im saying works, and do as little cardio as possible during the start of bulking, as it will cause heavy conflict.

I did both, bulk up and cut, Body is an amazing thing, bulking up makes you req more kcal to run, so i used that to a huge advantage
