I completely agree that solidly saying pyro=mlp=anything else colorful is pretty dumb, but at the same time, if two things share some characteristics, I don't see the harm in bringing the two together for comedic effect. For example, nobody really hated that post about the Colorado fires being caused by the fire nation because everybody was well aware that OP doesn't actually believe that fire = fire nation.

because mlp is a show full of friendship and love, while nice and colorful world that pyro lives in is just a mask for reality full of pain and suffering he inflicts on his enemies.
most fellow pyro players will agree with me that adding a 'brony' trait to pyros already ...unusual personality is just wrong. i think this gif explains this even better.

The majority of bronies don't love and tolerate because there was a massive surge of new bronies since suddenly it became "hip" and they were never told wtf love and tolerance actually means. Because of that, they disregarded it altogether disrespecting the entire community (even though these new bronies are actually the majority now) and so they do as they please and act like douchebags, simply because they don't understand what the phrase love and tolerance is supposed to mean.

What Azusa said is true, Love and Tolerance is a load of shit.
But what you said is also true, newer bronies had no idea what the fuck it was and disregarded it, even if older bronies pretended.
It's both of them, because even in the older community, love and tolerance wasn't always followed, and at times it was better to not follow it.

This is the proper way, this way both sides are happy. People can disregard Love and Tolerance when people don't deserve it, yet they follow love and tolerance when a person has done nothing to wrong them.

I know that, but I mean even at points where it should of been followed, people completely disregarded it. I know that at points where people are harming you people shouldn't follow it, but at the points where it was perfectly normal to use it, people still threatened other people instead of "love and tolerate" like people say they should of.

Well, when I said "Load of shit" I wasn't legitimately saying it was shit. I was saying, people tend to act like that is the rule that has, and should always be followed, and when the newer bronies come into play, they say that those newer bronies completely ruined the phrase, when I watched the phrase slowly die down before the new surge, the surge just finished off what little was left.
Love and tolerance wasn't really followed, sure it was followed for the first 2 or 3 months, but shortly after people just stopped using it completely.
I still try to go by the rule, but as I said, the newer bronies didn't completely ruin it, every brony as a whole impacted the phrase, in some way.

Basically in both cases a surge of new members came in, and weren't shown how to act or what the values actually were, they then created their own rules that the original members dislike which is why you see so many people saying /b/ sux nao or that the bronies are a bunch of intolerant douches

from what i've noticed all brony communities have hit rock bottom, first ours in late august of last year and 4chans not long after moot made /mlp/

I've said this for almost a year now, but no one believes me. Once love and tolerance is gone, the bronies will be too shortly after.
