it requires a microphone for the pc, and the extra effort to hit a button.
versus the consoles always on variety.

honestly i would rather have a push button option for consoles, my house is noisy as i have a 10 year old sister who is always screaming and crying at the littlest things.

to make things worse i have the kinect microphone so i have to go through menus instead of just switching it off...

no the kinect's on off function is through the home button. it's not slow, but you never know what's gonna set my sister off

I have never used the Kinect microphone. I used the one that comes with the machine that has an on off button.

yeah one doesnt come with the machine when you get the kinect bundle like me, because the kinect has one.
however the kinect one is shitty and you have to be within 6 feet for it to hear you
