That moment...

Happened to me once at Outback. Had just gotten my tax refund, took the fiance out for a nice juicy steak, planning for a movie afterword. Sat down to eat the meal, got about halfway into their most expensive steaks and realized I had left all of the money in the bank envelope at home. I talked to the head manager, gave him all of my information (phone number, home address, full name, etc) so that if I said I was going to get my money and just bailed, he could call the police and have me taken in.

I drove home, got the money, and went back to the restaurant. Payed the bill, tipped the waitress, and went about my evening.

Oh, okay, very logical, thanks for the thorough response. Were they negative about it at all or were they more understanding?

With it being tax season, they knew that I more than likely was good for the money, but had simply forgotten it. The assistant manager was a bitch about it, but then the actual manager thought it was pretty funny. He said he'd done the same thing before at the grocery store and they were dicks about it, so I guess it really depends on the people you're dealing with.

Well then, mister and/or missus "potatot," why not tell us what else it could possibly fucking be?
