"the government has no right take away the rights of the people, unless it's the states, the states can fuck your shit up" - Ron Paul
When deemed constitutional by the Supreme Court, Ron Paul declared Obamacare unconstitutional.
Apparently he has no idea why the Supreme Court is even there. Yep, great candidate.

He's technically still on the ballet, but he stopped campaigning since Romney got enough delegates to secure the nomination. People think he's still running just because he's going to be at the convention. Just because he's attending doesn't mean he's going to try to usurp the nomination that Romney won democratically. He's only going to the convention to "get his message out" or something along those lines.
I guess he could still run 3rd party, but if he rode out the Republican nomination this long it's very unlikely that he will start an all new campaign on another ticket.

and since Ron Paul will run through a separate party than the Republican party with Romney winning the nomination. Republican votes will be split and Obama will be re-elected

The people's vote and voice are meaningless. The Electoral College picks the president. Our vote just counts as the "popular vote"

Ron Paul's views are outdated and jaded. None of his policies would work. We're best just voting Obama again.

and they both have the same chances of getting elected
