I got one too because I thought that It would last forever, after it broke after 3 months of having it I found out that they generally fail a lot quicker than touch screens because of their hard drive, so we got another one free due to warranty and that one isnt working that well either

By break, do you mean it freezes? If so.. all you have to do is hold down the middle and menu button for 10 seconds and it works again, I've had mine for years.

the one that I had before I used the warranty was completely screwed up, the one after the warranty freezes up, I restart it every time to turn it on
