Well, what I always say is, just because it's OC, doesn't mean it deserves praise. For example, almost everything lustuad, alchemicfreak, or moushii has ever made was indeed OC, but combined, at least 90% of all their content is shit. The 4 reasons they got praise is because; They're chicks, they indeed made OC, some people like their artstyle, and lastly, most fj users have some sort of mental disability. Besides, MAYBE, the artstyle, none of those merit the attention that they get.

As soon as you put something on this site and have thumbs enabled on your content, you're automatically asking for praise (which is what thumbs are). And why you get it doesn't necessarily have to do something with your intentions. And if you're asking the fj community to be nicer and not to hate on op? It's not going to work and it's not gonna happen. Especially with your content. That didn't have your message at all, not even remotely. It might from time to time when some people band together and be nice, but it doesn't last long and it's rarely effective. I'm not trying to be a douchebag, but it's something that needs to be said. :(
