1. factions questlines are much shorter than oblivion or morrowind
2. there are less factions than oblivion and far less than morrowind
3. one of the most important and most interesting pieces of skyrim lore, werewolves, was overlooked and became a gimmicky bonus power.
4. dragons are no longer the mythic invincible symbols of the empire, at level 4 i had already killed 3 with an iron sword
5. no spell making
6. alduin was a huge disappointment. you see him within a few minutes of starting the game, and he is just a slightly larger dragon.
7. no added weapons or armour types, no development from oblivion, whatsoever.
8. no character development, in oblivion you earn the title champion of cyrodiil, in morrowind you have to convince each of the ashlander tribes and great house of vvardenfell to name you hortator and neraverine. in skyrim you are dragonborn from the start.
9 i simply despise the skyrim fandom that has sprung up since the release of skyrim. endless fucking cartoons with our iron helmeted hero, arrow in the fucking knee, stupid children who have no idea of the elder scrolls series messaging bethesda and asking for a dragon riding dlc.
