look. religion shouldn't be debated on FJ, whether it's bashing it or supporting it. I'm a Christian and I've laughed at religion bashing jokes. but some of them are just bad and overused, and when people complain, they get shat on. But when someone makes a athiesm bashing post like this, suddenly every athiest is offended because "it's a generalization", "you're putting all atheists into one group", "i don't say these things", "you used the meme wrong" and such.
but don't you think that 99% of Christianity jokes that athiests make are generalizations? i mean, saying that all Christians try to shove their religion down others' throats and that they are hypocrites is definitely not true. rarely, with the exception of the WBC, do Christians actually give a fuck what religion people are. the good majority, ones who practice the religion as "following Christ's teachings" (which is what the word "Christian" actually means) could care less whether a fellow human being is an atheist, a Jew, a Muslim, etc. It's when you start to diss Christians- that's when they're going to get angry. And that's the natural reaction for anyone who's being made fun of. Exhibit A- most athiests are shitting on this post. Why? because it's offending them. now you know how Christians feel when they are consantly being ridiculed.

So I'm a Christian and I apologize for Zlamous, we hate him too, and how this got 210 thumbs I have no clue. He is insulting atheist, which while I believe personally they are wrong I've got not right to insult them. Also this meme is being misused horribly. Zlamous, please stop giving Christians an even worse name.

I was an atheist for a long time in my life - became catholic and I completely understand why an atheist would refuse to believe in God in the same way a religious man wouldn't. Any fight about it mostly erupts when people act like dicks trying to defend their belief instead of trying to respect the opinion of the other. IMO both sides make valid points, but we can never know for sure and for some reason people would much rather spend their time arguing about it than simply let go...

but that's just, like, my opinion, man...

I'm an Atheist and I don't hate Christians. I will admit that I have a strong distaste for the extremists who with death and pain on those who disagree with them, but that goes for Christians, Atheists, Jews, Islamists, ect. While I will never judge a person by their religious beliefs I will always judge them one how they treat others who are different.

Anyone who gets offended by "Merry Christmas" needs a roundhouse kick to the face.

I'm an atheist and I don't really care about these posts, I just skip them, but this one made me rage BECAUSE YOU'RE USING THE MEME WRONG

Being an atheist i can usually find jokes going both ways funny, but this... Really, who thumps this shit up? First of all the meme isn't even correctly used. And the jokes are either plain stupid or could apply to anything about anything.
1st panel: This applies to everyone on the internet.
2nd panel: Arguing about religion doesn't make you religious.

The only one even remotely funny was panel 4.
