Really im just gonna point out something. Why is the Church againsts homosexual marriage? The answer would be because marriage was instituted for the sole reason of a man and a woman to unify their lives to have a family. Because homosexual couples can't reproduce, then the meaning of marriage would be lost. I'm not saying that I support or not support gay marriage, I prefer to stay neutral towards that topic. However, I do agree in civil marriage (i dunno how it works so im just guessing) and that if two people love each other they have the right to live together and do what they want. But I think that the people need to know what matrimony really is and that is exclusive for heterosexual couples.

A little off-topic now. What would happen if we said that homosexuality has right and started changing everything towards that idea. Books would have to be re-written, tv shows should probably add gay characters to their shows, in school teachers would have to talk about both types of people and honestly i think it would be confusing for the children. Imagine telling your kids that they have to **** a guy and then a girl to see which feels better to decide their sexuality, that just would be wrong. I don;'t know about you but I wouldn't want that for my kids

They could still adopt, or if it's a lesbian couple, go to a sperm bank, and have a family that way..

And for your second point, not really. Just because it's right, doesn't mean we have to force it down everywhere, as in, just because we say it's okay for gays to have a family, doesn't mean everything has to change, and tv shows and books have to have gays... and also, that " **** a guy and a girl to see what feels right" was so ******* off... It's not what they feel better ******* ... It's what's more attractive... and I don't know about you, but I can tell if a chicks attractive or not just by looking at her.....

I know its not the issue, thats why i said a little off topic now
I too agree that they should have equal rights but what im saying is that if the reason for marriage is to raise a family by reproducing then it wouldn't make sense if two people of the same sex did (speaking in terms of what matrimony is for the church)

Well its not "forcing" but if everything was equal between homo/heterosexual couples then you would have to teach the kids that way, or it could be interpreted as being against gay people.
Again this is just a though i had because of an article i read a few weeks ago, of course it could be different if it happened and i hope i havent offended anyone. if God is love then I'm pretty sure he wouldnt hate you for being what you are.But still something that was instituted for a man and a woman i think it should stay like that, it doesnt mean that they can't have a family or live like any other couple.

valid point, I think I just read your first comment a bit wrong. It's just, to me, who get's to say what a marriage is? who get's to say what a family is? And the problem is, the answer is different for every single person.. God, Government, Church, The People, the answers are endless.

exactly, people interpret things to their own convenience. When people speak in the name of the Bible or God without knowing anything they mess things up, because they are not speaking the thruth. I'm not saying the Church is flawless because it has many many thing in which they have to think and change, but when people talk when they dont have to, things like all this homo-hate happen

you know what? Time changes! Are you one of the people who think that all the original laws of the church should still exist? Or do you only think this about gay marriage?

And did you have to **** a girl/boy before you knew you were straight?

That last paragraph was a bit confusing. You seem to believe that the argument is that homosexual relationships are BETTER than heterosexual ones. That is not the issue at all, the issue is one of equal rights.

If you imagine that this would mean forcing sexual experimentation on children you're very, very wrong. Also you might be a paedophile.
