this is the ohio class submarine. if any country on the planet tried to fuck with us we could just use one of these babies (we have 18 of them) and wipe them clean off the face of the earth. here's the deal: at almost 400 feet long, they can move 15-25 knots, dive approximately 1500-2500 feet (highly classified as to the actual depth, could be more) and are extremely hard to detect. they have up to 43 missile tubes each of which with a submarine launched ballistic missile containing up to 7 nuclear warheads. the USS Jimmy Carter is the most badass submarine on the planet. this guy is speculated to dive 2000-3000 feet, move 20-30 knots, be essentially undetectable (and even if you could detect it it would be somewhere else by the time you could do anything), and it has 147 tomahawk missiles that can strike from underwater. this thing also can most likely (again classified) deploy navy seals and unmanned underwater vehicles. this boat is the single most advanced single piece of technology ever created. fun fact: during the last years of the cold war this class of submarines used to follow the russian subs around and fuck with them because it was so much faster and more maneuverable. youre dead, kiddo.
