Japanese people acknowledge foreigners' names as being the way they are, and they would call you by the western syntax. I'd do the same to a Japanese person.

It's Japanese custom to, when adressing someone, use their last name (Hatsune) in a formal context. You'd only use someone's first name (Miku) if you were very familiar with them.

So while her name may be Miku Hatsune, Hatsune Miku is still a correct and accepted way of both saying and writing it.

They'd also call you Smith.

Some characters such as Nasus, Ahri, Wukong, Renekton, and Zilean are inspired by Mythology, but Nasus and Renekton are waaaaaay too similar to pictographs and hieroglyphics.
