A large portion of today's music is absolute garbage. I'd rather listen to old stuff thats amazing than modern shit that has the tiniest modicum of talent and yet sells millions. The fact that Jimi's music still stands up against the test of time and will be for generations to come means he'll always be an icon. Nobody's whining about it, just appreaciating it.

This generation survives off of the back of thousands of years of development. This generation hasn't got to do much work because the previous generations already did it.
