You haven't played Counter Strike Source? Haha, oh well that's okay I'm a hardcore gamer and there's some big name titles I've never touched! Are you missing out on anything? Honestly, no... it's not quite as theatrical or fun as some of today's games. It's just another option for FPS fans that are PC gamers. The ORIGINAL CS (not source) was actually on original Xbox and actually alot of fun on there (also XBL is getting a new Counter Strike port that is kind of a new game). Ultimately it's more a hardcore PC shooter than a console game.

Like the others said, you SHOULD play it though at least once. If your a COD fanboy or w/e I say drop that crap and play a legitimate shooter. Counterstrike is the godfather of FPS games. Personally my favorite shooter is Battlefield 3 on the PC right now. It's a legit, top tier PC shooter and the theatrics/vehicles make it actually fun. I hate COD now its too mainstream with too many dipshits playing it and the company milks it charging 15 bucks for maps, I used to be a die hard Halo gamer (actually top of the leaderboards a few times). I would destroy people. I loved Reach but it was a little too different from traditional Halo.

Reach got ruined because of the bullshit, armor lock, bloom , lack of skill, lack of fast gameplay, and lack of rank and rewards. Halo 3 was the shit, I still remember dropping kids with my battle rifle in the best battles, I never will forget Halo 3. Hopefully Halo 4 will bring back that "feeling" they said you get Xp for everything you do in the game. Extremely similar to battlefield, they also said instant re-spawns. As well as the battle rifle obviously, but on the real side if you put a fast game like Halo with a battlefield ranking system and all these options with an amazing campaign. It looks like we have another successful Halo game like 3 and 2!

I agree, I liked the power ups for a change of pace but ultimately it wasn't halo anymore when Reach came out. I'm not too into Xbox anymore but I agree with you on Halo 4, I hope it's good and goes back to its roots.

And I'm glad you didn't forget Halo 2, personally that was my favorite Halo game of all time! I played over 5,000 matches of that game online. That was definitely my favorite. Unfortunately the modding community ruined it and then it was pulled from Xbox Live with all the other old Xbox games.
