Banks do a few things, namely hold your money so you don't have to hide it yourself, they give you money to buy things you can't afford, and they expect to make money on those loans, because they DO have to make a living, and can't with free checking accounts.
Banks don't rob the world. People being dumb with their money rob themselves. It just happens to go back to a bank.

it's not their fault they want to make a buck. Massive buisinesses are so large because they are doing one simple thing right. They are bringing in customers willing to pay for what they offer. That's why Occupy ____ can go fuck itself. If they don't want big corporations or want to end corporate greed (whatever in fucks name that even IS), they shouldn't be fighting for laws against the businesses, they should be educating the people on what their money does for a company...
the ONE occupier I agreed with said he was there for one reason only - to stop the government from giving private companies money. THAT I totally agree with. Shouldn't be happening. But other than that, tough shit, if Walmart wants to sell me shit for next to nothing, I'm taking it. and if they want to keep their money and roll around in it going "yayayayayayayay!" then by all means, more fuckign power to them.
I admire banks/companies/businesses that are being yelled at by Occupy, because most of them EARNED their place. There will always be a few lucky outliers who ARE assholes about things, but most people are fine to just take their $500,000 dollar paycheck and go home to their family.
Their money = their business.

60 years ago profit margins were around 5% any more than 10 was considered obscene, now if a company isn't making at least 20 its shareholders begin getting ornery. now earning money isn't a problem, this is the US after all, but how money is becoming a major problem.
banks sell complex derivatives to people who don't understand what they are investing in, the best example is Greece, who's government bought billions of dollars in derivatives thinking it would pad their income and now the entirety of europe is on the brink of collapse.
as for Walmart, they increase their profits by employing people for the smallest wage possible, while paying their ceo rediculous wages, again 60 years ago, even in the biggest companies, the average ceo only made up to 20 times more than the average employee, now it is around 800 times.
the culture of business has changed it has gone from making a living for as many employees as possible, to making as much profits for its already rich shareholders and upper level employees

so? It's the peoples decision to work for that company.
The government put into place minimum wage jobs - so that employees can make a living. A single full time minimum wage job is enough to pay for living. I do it, AND go to school.
the company itself has no reason to pay anybody more than that, unless that person is valuable to them, and they would otherwise lose money by NOT having that person.
so what if a CEO makes even 1000% more. So what if the profit margin is a 100%. The company isn't run by you, it's run by its owners. If you don't want to work for a company where you don't get more than minimum wage, DONT TAKE THE FUCKING JOB.
If a bank wants to sell a house to someone that the bank knows the person can't afford, the it's not on the bank to tell them that, its on the person to ask questions. if you don't want to be taken advantage of, then just ask some fucking questions.
People today feel so entitled to everything, and want to be walked through the park with their hands held and never have to answer for their own mistakes.
It should not matter one half of a fuck what someone else makes, or even how they got it. What should matter to you is YOUR paycheck. If CEO's didn't make that money, know where it would go? Not back to you. it would go back to pay bills for the company. charitable donations. Why should they pay anyone any more than they have to, ESPECIALLY if that person already agreed that minimum wage is perfectly acceptable to work for?
It's not companies man, its the people.
