Nemo from "Finding Nemo" is named after Captain Nemo from "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". The captain used Nemo intentionally as a pseudonym meaning "no one" in Latin to hide his true identity. So yes, Nemo's name means "no one" but just stating that doesn't really explain anything.
