That's implying stitches always leave permanent scars. Stitches usually don't leave any scars, and most scars they do leave fade with age. Some scars only last a couple of months, in fact.

i have the ugliest scar since 5 years where only 2 stitches were made
my eyebrow is scarred since i am 3 years old, that one was glued
my best friend has a 5 cm long scar on his arm that took 6 stitches, also ugly as fuck
and my father abdominal features a 10 cm scar that looks like on of thes halloween fake things
sure, most of the scars go away and also alot of mine went away but why would you risk branding yourself by getting stitches on purpose

Because if you've ever had mosquito bites from the damn things in areas like this, that would be a great help. Numb the area with litocaine, cut off the bite, stitch it up or graft skin over it, if need be, and no more bite. The damn things can be quite painful and last for weeks.
