Aren't all invasions illegal in some sort? I mean the colonists literally conquered the land by force in some nature. Sometimes they won. Sometimes they lost. I can see the relevance that illegal immigrants are coming to the United States because they want a new beginning just like in the past. However the colonists did with the mindset that they were gonna take that land for themselves and establish their own government. The illegals in the United States have no desire to start their own nation, but rather be a part of the current nation in place.

I don't have a solution to illegal immigration, but I think this sort of argument is severely invalid.
