When I went to America I wanted someone to mention crumpets to me so I could turnaround and yell in their arrogant faces "FUCK YEAH! I FUCKING LOVE CRUMPETS MOTHERFUCKER!"
I prefer a crumpet over a hamburger any day

I'm American, from the south and way back in 2nd grade we were made drink hot tea and eat crumpets (after building our sugar cube model of Buckingham Palace) to learn about England. From that moment on, I prefer hot unsweet tea to the locally preferred iced sweat tea.

Don't know if you Brits actually take it that way, but here's to you!

Damn that was 24 years ago i'm ancient!

I really enjoy British accents mostly for the vernacular and cultural slang that comes with it. English biscuits are American cookies, you shop with a trolley in England whereas you shop with a cart in America, etc. etc...

And women with British accents sound sexy as fuck in my opinion (maybe it's just the exoticness of it, me hearing American accents all the time)

I'm going to be a 4Chan copying butt here to get my story across:

>Be 13, British
>Visiting Hershey Park, and staying in camp grounds
>Be setting up our delightful unstable green tent
>Kid walks up to us from across tiny stream thing
>Start talking to him
> His eyes widen
>"Oh my god, YOU SOUND LIKE HARRY POTTER"
>"YOU LOOK LIKE HIM TOO"
>American friends agree
>Go batshit insane
>Pull broomstick out of ass, tell them to fuck off, and fly back to Hogwarts

I'm kidding about the last part, but that did happen.

Also we are actually all magical but we will never reveal our powers to you olol

I think English accents are absolutely adorable. It's quite refreshing compared to the usual crap that comes out of most American suckholes. All I usually have to listen to is, "ayo yo mah niggaz be trappin erryday. mothafuckaz betta kno!"

And yes, that was painful to type.

I think it's hilarious when other americans are insulted by a brit..and they FUCKING LOVE IT. "That was absolutely dreadful, you twat" "he has a sexy accent" really? I don't care if you have an accent or not. I'm pretty sure brits or aussies don't flip their shit when they hear an american accent.
