Same thing with video games, Nintendo introduces the Wiimote, people boo and hiss calling it a gimmick. Sony introduces the move while Microsoft introduces Kinect, people think they're the greatest thing ever... Hypocrisy at its finest...

Where you getting this info? I remember everyone loving the Wii-mote. They knew it would probably end up being pretty gimmicky, but everyone still thought it was cool. Sort of how it ended up selling so many. Move came around and no one thought much of it because it was just a bit more accurate than Wii Motion Plus. Kinect is a bit different as it's not really a ripoff of the Wii and can do cool things if you let the hackers do their thing with it.

there was a comic about it, I'm just stating what it was about. Same thing is going on right now actually, people are booing and hissing at the WiiU's touch screen controller calling it once again a gimmick... I wouldn't be surprised if the WiiU becomes the next Super Nintendo, what HD gaming really should be!
