Generations 2 and 5 are my favorites to be honest. Generation 2 because it was so innovative with it's double-region story (plus Umbreon is my favorite Pokemon), and generation 5 because it was so bold, starting from scratch, basing itself off of America instead of Japan, and the best story line since the original Team Rocket. I was brought up with Generation 1 but times change. Nostalgia's fine but don't let it stop you from moving forward. /rant
