Comparing Slipknot to Nickleback? Seriously? I know they're not the best band but at least compare music of the same genre. Honestly, to me Slipknot is amazing because when it started raining at a concert, every other pussy ass band left and slipknot played for 6 hours in the fucking rain.

If you're not into "that shit", I don't think you're in your right mind to judge Slipknot's quality in music. What is quality to you may be shit to others. Slipknot has established themselves and created their own sub-genre, whereas Nickelback simply took some western music influence and mixed it with poprock. 4 chord song, anyone? Yes, those 4 chords sell and I don't recall Slipknot ever using them. Slipknot's lyrics also have a ton more meaning to them. I may be biased by the fact that I like them a lot, but you can't really say they make low quality music.

What women are you speaking of? And uh, yeah, the screams are SOMETIMES modified, or else they'd hurt your ears, and then sometimes they hit the right pitch. It doesn't even matter if the screams are modified or not anyways.

Modifying is nowhere near auto tune. Auto tune is an atrocious computer sounding noise. Modifying can be anywhere from just simple touch ups to changing the volume of the voice or instruments.
And the singer is a man.

And they have some of the best taste in music I've ever seen. Plus, a friend that only listened to techno, I got him to love them.

But ya know, keep thinking what you're thinking. One person that says their bad isn't going to stop me from loving them. I've gotten more shit for liking them than anything else, but WHO the hell cares. It's music. It's a sense of opinion, and though I don't agree with yours, I respect it.

I tried listening to A7X. I just couldn't do it. My friend wanted me to like them so badly, and I just couldn't get into them. But they do have completely different sounds, so that doesn't surprise me that you like them and don't like BvB.

I really like their solos
the music they make is also more technical
and the harmonized riffs are nice
