There was so much hype about D3 coming out (Like everyone saying "Oh shit nigger, I'm going to be locked away for a month just playing Diablo) that I figured I should try to get into it. Well, I can never just jump into a series, so I went back and got Diablo II, after studying up on the plot of Diablo. I'm on the third act, and I planned on buying Diablo III after I finished Diablo II, because I got a guest pass and it seemed like a pretty damn fun game to me. But now I'm seeing so many comments about why it's actually really not that great or even more fun than the second game. So now I'm conflicted. Everyone seemed to be praising it not too long ago, and now the general view about it seems to be 'meh'.

Buy it, whats the worst that can happen?

I bought COD MW3 and even paid extra money to have it shipped the first day it came out. I just have it now for when people who like it come over

Meh, alright. I'm just extremely wary when it comes to purchases. It's the worst feeling when you buy something, regret buying it, and then just have it sit there, being useless and taunting you.

You won't regret it, honestly. Many of the complaints people have are on very picky things, often on changes from diablo 2 that were intended to make the game more enjoyable. I've played diablo 2 a lot over the past 5 years or so and I got diablo 3 this week. So far am loving it.
