Seriously, did everyone forget about Boot Camp? That awesome thing that lets you run Windows on a Mac?

Yeah. Unless you're stupid, dumb, retarded, or idiotic, you should realize that that means that BF3 and ANY OTHER WINDOWS PROGRAM can run on a Mac.

I won't get into the fact that no PC manufacturer so far has trumped Apple's impeccable design.

Why would you boot camp a $2500 mac to run windows on when you could have gotten a $1000 laptop with twice the performance? Isn't the purpose of buying a mac is for their OS?

Yes. Mac OS X is very nice, but unfortunately doesn't have the support from software developers.

Of course, I still (objectively) think that there's no-one who can top Apple's hardware design. Maybe not in terms upgradability, but in terms of looks and build quality.

Oh, and baffledpanda has a point - it's nice to have both. Mac OS X doesn't run too well on most PCs (I've tried OSx86, and it's VERY hard to get working stably).
