From what I've experienced on the internet, nobody hates Canada/Canadians. Every country has it's stereotypes, and some can be harsh, like Americans being dumb and fat, or Chinese/Japanese having small dicks, etc. But Canada stereotypes are that we all live in igloos and ride moose (meese?) and snowmobiles and all we do in our spare time is play hockey and go ice fishing, not to mention the whole "eh" thing.
When I think of countries, I think of them as people, and in my mind, Canada is the little kid that no one can hate simply because it's so cute and nice and friendly.

This is nothing. I've heard teenagers from Stockholm quite seriously wonder if people in northern Sweden know what a computer or TV is. Or if it's dangerous with all the polar bears around. (Distance from Stockholm = about 500-700 kilometer. Not very far.) It was just about 10 years ago too. Also some kids believed cows laid milk cartons like hens lay eggs and that fishes are square because that's how they look in the store.. I'm often convinced we have far more retards than the "ameridumbs".
