The Slugs lost

Wow, i really didn' t expect this to make such a storm! Apologies in
advance to any slug activists out there...
Updates:
There' s been only one casualty very close to the entrance! Perhaps i
made it too hard or perhaps he was going straight for the jam? There' s
also another slug trail that appears from under the door and retreats
it again.
Is this just the vanguard of a greater attack... Who knows? Maybe the
others got a look at the first slug and decided it wasn' t worth it.
Either way, this slug died a warriors death and the house is clear for
now. Success!
Rs - No ants either, phew!

I really don't think it was fair to put an arrow DIRECTLY in front of the entrance to the maze. That just made it way too complicated in my opinion.

Because there was lots of slugs going into my house, i took some plasticine and a toothpick, i impaled the slug on the toothpick and left it by the doors as a warning to invaders. From that day, not a single slug invaded my house.
