Man, I respect your opinion, but I want to try to get you to check out some more death metal. Don't take me wrong, I love all the good ol' metal- apart from fucking Avenged sevenfold- but there is just so much great stuff out there. Check out Gojira and Decapitated. Gojira is a French band that doesn't focus as much on the guitar aspect of metal as other bands do; especially check out the album "The way of all flesh".

yeah, i used to hate death metal but then i realized that i was taking it too seriously, because in reality its all a joke. thats the way you should approach it, but its still not for everyone

i always found Lars to be a pretty good drummer.

Lars is just getting progressively worse. I just saw them at the Orion fest and Lars couldn't get his timing down, and he screwed up Master of Puppets. Sometimes has to use a machine kick during One because he can't keep up. Its depressing
