not evolved?
correct me if im wrong, but didnt humans brain evolve because of the protein rich diet... and meat is the main source of proteins.

Humans didn't evolve large and complex brains because of meat, they needed a protein- and energy-rich diet to support their large, energy consuming brains.

In fact, we evolved brains because of our need for language and understanding to set us apart from other species. When humanity was at a disadvantage in terms of size, speed, and strength, our ability to communicate, cooperate, and think was what kept us alive through extinctions and ice ages.

And now that ability to communicate and create has left us looking at lolcats on the internet while we're slowly fucking ourselves over (just watch some George Carlin videos, you'll see what I mean), which I think is just dandy, by the way.

but we do not get energy from proteins...

Yes. Yes we do. If you had one gram of carbohydrates (found in, for example, bread) and one gram of protein (found in sweet, delicious, LEAN meat or poultry, among other things), they would contain the same amount of energy.

The other main type of molecule used to obtain energy for the body is fat, and sometimes alcohol.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_energy Read the first few paragraphs and you'll see what I mean.

Correction coming here;

Evolution has nothing to do with your diet, as such. Evolution is totally random, and the specimen that has had a PRACTICAL mutation will survive and have offspring and shit.

Also, while y'all meat eaters (not to mention milk drinkers) use the protein argument quite a lot, let me clear something out;

True, meat and milk are stuffed with protein. The thing is, we don't get most of that protein, because animal protein are way too acidic for humans, which means that in order to neutralise it, our body leeches out Calcium Phosphate out of our bones, to use the Phosphate to neutralise the acid. Now, something gets lost in this process. That's right; Calcium. Summing up quickly; It's hard for us to actually acquire the animal protein, and we lose Calcium in the process. The milk industry tells you milk is good for your bones, but it's a God damned lie. It ruins your bones.

If you want more info, just ask me. I'm in a good mood today.

True to an extent, how ever, how do you explain the presence of incisors and canine teeth? Teeth needed for chewing meat, not plant matter. If we were herbivores, then we would have nothing but molars, and wouldn't be able to process meat. The presence of large and small intestines (one needed to process anything, the other needed to process meat) also points to a predatory nature.

Read up on how we classify dinosaurs (mostly by teeth) and then use that on the human body; it becomes exceedingly obvious that we are omnivores from even a quick go over.

That, and we eat cows because we had the mental capacity to start the Neolithic Revolution, which was farming (both animals and plants)
