There will come a time when we will stop using em Twitter
and Trubble accounts that are dedicated to My Little Ponynet
might stop using them because the fandom just breaks apart,
it might be because the show ends, er it might just be
because we grow up. But when that time comes, we' ll
deactivate, we' ll tear down the posters, hide away all of the
merch we' bought over the years. Then a few years later,
when we' re married, with a house and kids, we might see
that first episode aired en the TV after we get home from
work one day. Tears will start to fall from your eyes and
yee' ll look away from the TV as it all comes pouring back.
The music, the fanart, the laughs, the cries, the memories.
Yeu' ll think about those 6 ponies who changed your life, the
ponies who taught we about friendship, shows you that you
were worth something. You']] think of all of the amazing
friends that you met because of those ponies and wonder
why we never stayed in touch with them. Youll realize how
lucky you were to be part of the amazing journey of My
Little Pony; how amazing it was to be in the tandem that had
meant so much to we all those years age. Yeu' ll remember
every little detail about what happened with those 6 incredible
ponies and how proud we were of them for their enduring;
friendship. Youll realize that there are fans just like we all
over the world, thinking about all of this at the same time as
we. Because fandoms never really die out. We never really
move en. We never really forget.

I'm joking guys this fandom is the greatest thing. Even though there are some things that i honestly don't like I understand and respect the others that do so keep doing what you're doing and brony on.

Even if the show gets cancelled, the fandom will live on, have you seen the amounts of content it creates, some guys are even working on full length fan made episodes, we've become self sustainng.

The thing that I think, however, is that this fandom is something different. There will be the eventual day where G4 will run out of steam (most likely the writers running out of good ideas before Hasbro drops it) however I do not fear the end of the fandom.

Bronies themselves have become a culture willing to stand together despite their differences, and together we will keep on being bronies long after the show died off. G5 will follow, and hopefully Hasbro will be intelligent enough to not ruin it to keep their income and publicity up. (Because they know that bronies = a steady money train) If not, then I know we will take it into our own hands. Ponies will live on in fan-made episodes, animations, and fanfictions that will continue to be made. This may last even for several decades if the conditions are right.

Years later, my time as an active brony may pass, but I'll be sure to show my kids every episode of MLP, if just to show them the lessons they all oh so need to learn, and to proudly say to the pony fans of the next generation that I was one of the original bronies.

So keep calm and brony on. This fandom is here to stay.

OBJECTION!

Fandoms never die at all.
Case in point: Dragon Ball.
Despite the fact Dragon Ball/Z/GT has ended quite a long time ago, we still have fans who never stop believing there will be another series (the whole AF/Hoshi thing)

Even then, they still draw art, still play the games that come out (I should also mention that this is related to the fact that even when the series has ended, the fact that there is STILL a market for DBZ proves the unyielding life of a fandom), and so on and so forth.

I agree with your statement that a fandom never dies, but not in the vein that "it's never forgotten," I insinuate that a fandom simply continues on, not just in memories, but in existence. Evidence?

You heard of a little project called "Double Rainboom"? A fan-made episode?
If the fans can make their own episodes, I find it highly improbable for this fandom to lose enough steam to fall into Oblivion.

The thing that confuses me about brony's is how they all talk about how the show taught them about friendship and tolerance. Were they all terrible people before watching a random cartoon?

The odd thing is I am in the process of writing a fanfic based off of this idea. I'm glad someone summed it up nicely and posted it here. But the one thing I say about this fandom goes with my favorite quote:

"I sound my barbaric YAWP across the roofs of the world." -Walt Whitman

I interpret it as we should be proud of our likes and let the people know, for we are strong and we shall live on!

My Little Pony is a franchise, one that has improved over the years to result in this, and is still going. once G4 ends, there will be G5, and so on. as long as there are those willing to watch talking ponies, it will be alive. Newer generations could even possibly be better and more entertaining than this one, who knows? Any way you put it, MLP will never die.

the fandom will never die

Keep calm and brony on you marvelous motherfuckers /)

This will never happen!

We must stay strong, maintain this wonderful thing, and forever strive to be better ponies people
