It's not Titon, if you are referring to the Greek god of the seas, it's Poseidon, if you are referring to the Titan, it is Oceanus
User avatar #2 - bigmantan (04/21/2010) [+] (1 reply)
it's poseidon, not triton.

I can clearly call a few of you idiots out there...well, idiots! First of all, Triton is a Greek god, son of POSEIDON and Amphitrite. He is, in fact, the messenger of the ocean. That could very well be Triton up there and not Poseidon, although the Trident was a gift to Poseidon specifically, so I don't know if the artist did his research.
#44 - anonymous (04/22/2010) [+] (1 reply)
triton, posiodon's son by the goddess Amphitrite, is a mer-man and god-king of the sea.
#50 to #44 - anonymous (04/22/2010) [-]
Wrong; Yes, Triton is a god, but no, he is not king of the sea, that would be POSEIDON, Triton is his son and the messenger of the sea. And tif the artist did research, he would have realized Poseidon is in the net, since he clearly has a trident, which was specifically Poseidons symbol of power.

Kronos, not Cronus, and the cyclops is Polyphemus
#10 to #9 - SithCheese (04/22/2010) [-]
No, it's Kronos, he was the father of the gods and also the king titan, ever heard of wikipedia? clearly not, and anyway, where do you think Chronology comes from? from the greek Kronos, meaning time, he was the king of the titans, and also the Titan in charge of time, there was a titan of the sea, and sky, but when the gods took over they were murdered and replaced, get your facts right
#41 - clownslaya (04/22/2010) [+] (7 replies)

#59 to #43 - anonymous (04/22/2010) [-]
