Oh my god Amon was FUCKING AMAZING in this episode! I hate Tarrlock and when I saw Amon enter the scene I was like YES, TAKE HIS BENDING AWAY, YOU FANTASTIC SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!

Amon is one of my favorite villains of all time.
"What....What are you?"
"I am the solution."
Simply badass.
Favorite characters so far are Lin, Amon, Tenzin, Jinora, and Bolin.
Also, I'm starting to really dislike Mako (especially after this recent episode), he seems too immature and relationship challenged. I understand they're teenagers, but Bolin (who is younger) is more mature when dealing with his relationship problems than his older brother. Mako just seemed childish.

I think Amon is actually a good guy. So far he has taken away bending from people who abuse it.

My theory to what Amon is
You can tell he's part human because he slow'd down when Tarrlok tried to blood bend him. Now as you can recall from earlier in the story he and his parents got killed by the fire-bender, and he ruined his face but he probably didn't shoot a fireball in his face but rather at his whole body. Now as he went to the hospital they probably realized he had alot of damage done to him and had to get some mechanical implants in him so he could survive (think of Darth Vader if you cant comprehend this).Now as you can see Amon isn't a poor man as he has many manufacturers around the city building equipment and vehicals and innovative minds too ex.MrSato.
So even if technology was too advanced back when the predicament happened to him and he survived the miracle it's certainly advanced enough in this period now.
Anyone saying he non-human is wrong because he stated on the 'revelation' episode was was a non-bender man with two parents.
