Out of the kind of alcohol I've had (I'll be 22 in a few months) in the past, none of them were any good.

What if I just don't drink any alcohol? Will, by that logic I live forever?

The only ones I've tasted that I've ever liked were Rum and one type of champagne (dry?), but that was because I had that with strawberries (a bite of strawberry makes you able to brace the tart taste for a short time)

Alcohol is just one of those things that has to grow on you before you actually start to enjoy it. I guess people get over drinking beer by forcing themselves, thinking it's what every "cool" kid does.

Same here. A bunch of people say beer is an "acquired taste" but I think if you don't like something, you shouldn't put it in your mouth

One day beer will just... taste good. When I was 16, I just pretended I liked beer, but I only drank it to get drunk. Now I love a good beer on the beach or at a barbecue. I'm 18 now.

I'm more partial to dark lagers when it comes to beer, and whiskey when it comes to hard liquor. I do not really like Rum (It's a bit too sweet for my taste) and Vodka.
Also, concerning Rum: I used to be able to drink it like water, but now it causes excruciating pain in my stomach whenever I drink it... it felt like I was getting stabbed. What the hell is wrong with me?
