Yeah, us Republicans sure do hate those minorities...
User avatar #152 to #148 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
I don't know how that is relevant to today's issues.
User avatar #155 to #152 - daedrakiller (06/09/2012) [-]
The comic says he votes republican to keep minorities from ruining his life, but yet one of the largest minority hating groups was started by the opposite party and republicans wanted to help blacks empower themselves in the past.

Yet, now it would seem it is the other way around.

How so?

Albeit they were started by democrats, today they are run by republicans, mostly.

I'm not hating on either party here. I just think it's really stupid how Americans are ridiculed because some people deny others their basic human rights. Obama is doing a great job trying to fix what Bush and his people broke. Health care is undeniably a step in the right direction, and gays should be allowed to marry. This is the only sides people care about, and that is why most people are against the Republicans. You know ofc that there's a lot more too it. IN SHORT: Some people fucks up for the rest.

Free healthcare is a terrible idea for The United States. There are way too many people living in the U.S. who are not citizens and not paying taxes. That means the people who pay taxes have to pay for them as well. It's a huge financial drain on our country. Sure free healthcare might work in some countries but not America. There are just way too many people coming here illegally and taking advantage of benefits that they don't deserve. The reason it works better in some other countries rather than America is because more people are actually trying to come to America than other countries to start a different life and seek better opportunities. Therefore, America has more illegal immigrants there using the benefit without paying in.

TL;DR Free Healthcare in America is bad mmmkay

The stupidity...

I never said anything about communistic and completely free health care. You are completely right that Free health care would not work.

Good sir I mis-read your comment. I can only apologize to the fullest and ask for your total forgiveness. Although, I will say, America has not made a step in the right direction when it comes to healthcare though.
User avatar #225 to #217 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
I might be a bit unclear. The step in the right direction is the push that makes more people join in the cause (either side) and know more about what's going on.
It also pushes for what I personally wish for. I wan't people to not owe tons of money after one in the family got cancer. I do have a little commie views when it comes to more serious inguries, that can ruin lives, after the treatments.
#229 to #225 - juckinfunk (06/09/2012) [-]
I totally agree. It's disgusting how someone with cancer sometimes wishes they just die as soon as possible so their family isn't left with the bill. But the government has no business in health care. It mentions nowhere in the constitution anything about health care and frankly I don't want the government messing with health care and deciding when I can or can't have treatment or not. They can't even handle the U.S. Postal Service, how can I let them be in charge of my health care?
User avatar #231 to #229 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
I see your point, and I raise you a hell of a long time.
User avatar #187 to #173 - daedrakiller (06/09/2012) [-]
I agree with you on the fact that gays should be a allowed to marry, but giving people free healthcare is not at all a step in the right direction. I mean, sure, everyone having free healthcare would be amazing, but if we pay for everyone to go to the doctor then that's expensive. We could put that money towards finding better ways to combat cancer or AIDS or any other big name disease that cost absurd amounts of money trying to treat it. Bush did a descent job considering he had a huge terrorist attack in the first year of his first term.
User avatar #207 to #187 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
I'm not even gonna tuch the 9/11 bullshit, as everyone should know at least some important facts. I think you misunderstood what I meant by health care. I don't want a completely free system. I want cancer patient to afford treatment.
#222 to #207 - juckinfunk (06/09/2012) [-]
I think the confusion is coming from you mentioning healthcare and obama doing a great job in the same sentence. Because Obama has done the complete opposite of a great job for this country.
User avatar #230 to #222 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
He is making people active, which is more than you can expect for politicians nowadays. It's the people of this gods forsaken earth that needs to change.
#232 to #230 - juckinfunk (06/09/2012) [-]
He's making people active in what way? As in making decisions in politics? Or you talking about active as in healthy and exercise and eating right?
User avatar #236 to #232 - rainbowrush (06/09/2012) [-]
After Obama got elected, a lot more people joined politics and the debates. This is ofc not entirely his doing, and he shouldn't get more than some credits for it. I see that most people think I actually like Obama, or think that he is a gift from above. The only good thing about Obama is that more people join in the shitstorm. I would appreciate input on the Bush doing something good thingy.
#248 to #236 - juckinfunk (06/09/2012) [-]
Bush didn't make a health care reform. There's a good thingy for you. Bush had unemployment at 4% while obama continually spending our country further and further into debt made a 850+ billion dollar stimulus package to fix unemployment and assured it would never go above 8% and we are currently above 8%. Obama has spent more money than bush ever did in less time. Obama only got more people involved because now black people had a reason to vote and whites had to vote for him to prove they weren't racist. That's the only reason he got elected. He wasn't qualified in any way shape or form to be president and is one of this countries worst presidents of all time. Maybe not the worst, Teddy Roosevelt is up there on that list. But they're all fighting for top spot of the worst. Along with Eisenhower and a few others.
