Typical for Funnyjunk to display its ignorance, which is dominated by none other than a bunch of politically unaware, self-entitled, teenage brats.

The primary focus of the Republican party is to ensure that what you earn is what you should keep. To do this, Republicans find it necessary to to abide by and further uphold the constitution (which has been around for over 200 years, thus creating one of the most powerful economic/military superpowers in the world).

The picture above is completely inaccurate as I do not know one true Republican who abides by such values that have been described. Furthermore, I vote Republican for a plethora of fiscal reasons. Such reasons are ones that create jobs, business, success, and so on.

Such conservative policies that have proven to work wonderfully is something that was done in 2003. Taxes paid by millionaire households more than doubled to $274 billion in 2006, from $136 billion in 2003. Now you might ask what happened in 2003? Well the answer is simple - we rolled back the Clinton taxes. No president has ever plied more money from the rich than George W. Bush did with his 2003 tax cuts.

P.S. If you want to make such wild generalizations, then I will too.

Democrat: "Obama gonna pay my gas!"

Obama: Raises the debt by 45% (4.7 trillion) within his first three years, which is more than Bush could do in his entire 8 years, thus leading to higher inflation of the dollar. Therefore causing Crude Oil (which accounts for more than 75% of the price you pay per gallon of gasoline) to increase because the U.S. dollar is the only currency which can purchase Crude Oil in the entire world.

Nvm that wasn't a generalization, that was straight factual data.

lol. IT's funny that you say that other people display ignorance. Obama was not the cause of this. Take for example, the debt ceiling. Remember that time when the REPUBLICAN CONGRESS refused to VOTE on whether or not to PAY the DEBTS? Yeah. That's right. It wasn't OBAMA'S FAULT, it was the ******* republican congress. As it was mostly democratic while Bush held office, and it is now mostly republican while Obama holds office.

Get your actual facts straight before you generalize ****. The ignorant ones here need to learn **** and stop taking partisan to political parties. Anyone with any amount of actual sense for the world can realize that 2 political parties are gonna bring this country to ****.

And no, I'm not biased. I'm stating facts, like you said you were "stating facts."

Both parties are stupid as ****. Lowering of taxes and deregulation caused a higher tax income and economic boom, respectively, but also lead to the recent recession. Democrats are crazy, but Republicans have it all wrong too. You can't just slash taxes, take all government oversight out of the marketplace, and remove social safety nets and expect things to work out fine. It results in greater short-term growth, but risky long-term effects (Great Depression, economic recession of 2007). The Washington Consensus revised its views because hands-free globalization failed miserably.

Whereas the primary focus of the Democrat party is relatively more simple:
Retain power through maintaining/growing the voting population which will, for whatever reasons, cast their votes dictating that the Democrat party stays in power. (Maintaining a predictable voting base.)

What? Did you guys think the debt would suddenly stop increasing at an exponential rate (for 8 years) the moment Obama took office? You simply can't repair 8 years of destruction in 4.

Obama could have stopped the spending. What does he do? Add more useless programs.
"But he wants to end the tax cuts for the rich".
That won't even make a dent in the debt. Nonetheless, a dent in the debt he's creating.

You realize that just because Bush left office it doesn't stop accruing debts because of the policies he had put in place. The economic collapse, the wars, etc. don't stop simply because he left office. The fact that Obama had to spend more money in order to prevent a complete collapse of our financial system is in direct response to the fact that Bush did nothing to attempt to prevent the economic collapse. Also, fun story: United States being dependent on foreign oil makes it dependent on forcing some sort of peace settlement onto the Middle East in order to secure that oil. The reason that the price of crude oil has gone up is because the US is less dependent on it is because of Obama's policies. Thus as a result we are not as dependent on events in the middle east staying somewhat stable.

During the 1860s, the parties were completely opposite of what they are today. During the civil war, most Democrats were state's rights supporters in the South, most Republicans lived in the North and favored a strong central government. Today's republicans would have been democrats in the 1860s as they believe in small government.

The civil war wasn't actually fought over slavery, directly. A tax was imposed on certain imported textiles from England. The only people who bought that particular textile were slave owners because it was cheap and only used for slaves clothing. This sort of thing had happened several times and the south got pissed off and separated after feeling like it was being done on purpose. And Abraham only freed slaves in the south so that it would reduce their workforce and weaken their war effort, there were several slave states in the north that were fighting, that were allowed to keep slaves.

That may be true, but just because some hookers are like that doesn't mean they all are. And I agree, they may have made some bad choices, but it's not like they're all killers and don't deserve to have jobs. And just because hookers are legal doesn't mean you HAVE to hire them. It's still up to the people to hire them.
