being Scottish, I don't have that problem. We all speak in a Guffy slang
Like; "aye" "nae bother" "Mukin aboot" "naw"
I know of one person who uses a high vocabulary, and it's an angry feminist that argues with everyone. And sher loses almost every arguement because she relies on her vocabulary and big words.

I'm Scottish too. Scots isn't slang. It's its own language. :D

I know, I love how it is now an official language.
I love the Scottish Parliament website, how you can change the language from English to Scots

You are now reading that comment with this voice.

I tried to keep it in Willie's voice, but I am not good with accents.
I just saw in my mind a little map of the United Kingdom, with a dot on it showing the accent move slowly from Scotland down to Manchester and finally over to Ireland.
If the comment had been longer, I probably would have travelled the entire United Kingdom.

She looks like a stomped tomato
My standards are low, and I wouldn't touch that.
