Hitler may not have wanted to destroy Britain, but it would have been essential to his war effort. Remember, Britain's colonies were the ones providing the manpower for her. Hitler could have taken London, and then made peace treaties with several of the colonies promising independence. Probably not all of the colonies would have accepted, but he would have focused on India the most, being a major supplier of troops. Even if they didn't accept at all, the loss of orginization/morale would have lowered the efficiency of the British fighting in Africa, allowing an Axis victory in Egypt, and then in the Middle East. With the Middle East in Hitler's control, he could then invade the USSR, being able to attack simultaniously from the West and the South, catching more Soviets offguard, and only having to fight on one front.

Wasn't its Germany, Japan AND Russia allied with each other at the start of WW2? And Japan were having a SEPARATE war with china at the time so they couldn't just GET the resources needed because they were fighting them, America were their only life line so they had no choice to go to war, and resources weren't the only reason they went to war with America. Japan at the time were very much like Germany, they had there own racial superiority ideals, that the Japanese were superior to everyone else, and they HATED western countries gaining dominance in Asia, JAPAN wanted to do that, thats the only reason the Japanese sided with Germany and Russia, to defeat America and the other western countries and gain dominance in Asia, Japan didn't WANT to be allied with Germany, they basically had to because it was their only option. Also, the reason the Japanese wasn't attacking Russia from the other side is because it had to get through china, whats bordered with China? India, who owned India at the time? the UK, who DIDN'T want to lose India? You guessed it, the UK, so they fought like mad to take territory in China so the japanese couldn't get to India so basically, they couldn't fight the Russians on the other front because the UK were holding them back and doing a fine job of it (admittedly other armies pitched in but not much, this was almost completely fought by british controlled armies (the Indians, British, Austrailians and so on)) so it was IMPOSSIBLE for the Japanese to fight the Russians on the other front.

So basically, the Japanese would have entered the war regardless and couldn't fight the Russians directly because 1. They couldn't get there 2. They weren't fighting FOR or even WITH the Germans, the just Allied with them 3. They had no quarrel with the Russians, only the Americans

Also, if Japan didn't involve the USA, Germany would have, Hitlers plan was always to attack the US

I never said that, i asked whats bordered with china? India and then i went on to say the Allies were getting land inside china to defend india against Japan rule, maybe i should have elaborated that the UK was a bigger threat because the Japanese wanted China and not Russia, so they had no need to fight them and the brits were mostly in the way anyway (gathering land near Russia inside of china)
