Stop Racism
This happened on TAM airlines.
A year old white woman arrived at her
seat and saw that the passenger next to her was a
black man. Visibly furious, she called the air hostess.
What' s the problem, ma' am?" the hostess asked her.
Can' t you see?" the lady said - ''l was given a seat
next to a black man. I can' t seat here next to him.
You have to change my seat!"
Please, calm down, ma' am." - said the hostess.
Unfortunately, all the seats are occupied, but I' m still
going to check if we have any."
The hostess left and returned some minutes later:
Madam, as I told you, there isn' t any empty seat in
this class- economy class.
But I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that
there isn' t any empty seats in the economy class.
We only have seats in the first class.''
And before the woman said anything, the hostess
continued:
Look, it is unusual for our company to allow a
passenger from the economy class change to the first
class. However, given the circumstances, the
commandant thinks that it would be a scandal to
make a passenger trawl sat next to an unpleasant
person."
And turning to the black man, the hostess said:
Which means, Sir, if you would be so nice to pack
your handbag, we have reserved you a seat in the
first class..."
And all the passengers nearby, who were shocked
to see the scene started applauding, some standing
on their feet."

I realize now that i have been on the internet for far to long.
I have seen this story told, then i have seen it change. Reiteration after reiteration, time after time, stories like this one seem to come back. And it seems i have followed them, as they have followed me.
I will not shout re-post like the masses, i will not even thumb down the user who submitted this. Seeing content like this makes me realize something about myself.
I have transcended the unwashed masses of the internet, i have been here for so long that i stopped complaining. Sure i talked to you, made my jokes, told my stories, but in the ever ongoing debates of the internet i have remained silent.
Posts like this bring me back to a simpler time, a time before the web, and more importantly the message board community, was flooded. Flooded with these "Casuals", these repeating cells that seem to get stuck anywhere and everywhere on the web. Spreading like a cancer through the very tubes we use for our entertainment.
Posts like this remind me that; me, and others like me, should raise ourselves above all this. We know of the dark depths, the hidden coves, lagoons, oases, we even know of the shit filled kids pool. And most of us use this knowledge for nothing, we pick our place to stand, and remain silent about what the web is becoming.
And no, i'm not just talking about this site, i'm talking about the web, from the unspoken sites all the way up to tumbler. This shit has changed. And we know.
Because at one point we soared high, we saw the beautiful randomness of what his place could be, we shared stories, told jokes, laughed, cried and cringed. We took this all the ways to heavens, and when we got there, we found nothing, and we where ok with that.
Because the internet has never been about "site loyalty". It was about sharing what you felt like sharing. And when we didn't like something, we didn't whine about it, we shut it down, or we ignored it.
Fuck you all. im out.

If people stopped making such a big deal out of racism then it would be less of a problem. Remember Morgan Freeman saying to stop racism you've just got to stop talking about it. Yeah there's going to be people who abuse people for their colour, race and even things as simple as life choices. Fact of the matter is that there are people in this world who are just cunts. Can't have good without evil.
If you as a person decide to stop worrying so much about what you've got to call your black friend/coworker/whatever then we're one step closer to where we need to be.
/rant :(
