Covering up a massive factory mistake.

I separate my skittles by color and shape. The perfectly shaped purples are to be kept to the side, as these are the master race of skittles. Reds and greens may be kept alive, however, this is only so that they may be used as servants to the glorious purple master race. I then round up all the yellows, oranges, and deformed skittles and put them away in concentration dishes. All deformed skittles are to be digested immediately. The yellows and oranges are to stay there, working to supply the great purple army until they show that they have reached their full use. Once said use has been reached, the yellows and oranges will also be digested. I there is any disrupting behavior in any green or red skittles, immediate digestion is to occur. The glorious purple master race of skittles will be set aside from all of this activity with the other skittles, having their own metropolis to live among, known as Berlittle. Once the process has been completed with all yellows, oranges, deformed skittles (and eventually most of the reds and greens), my final Salivation will be completed, and my glorious race of purple skittles may live and prosper.

I seperate them into colours, then eat them evenly, one by one. OCD AWAAAAY!

what do you do with uneven amounts of colors ?

Usually us OCD types save them for last. When this happens, I eat them all at once.

I shove every skittle into my mouth and then suck on the delicious mass of skittles.

I always sort them before i eat mine.

From a purely economical standpoint, this is a terrible idea. I'd only be eating 20% of the product, compared to the 80% I eat in the standard pack. Plus, to properly enjoy Skittles, you have to separate the flavors out from each other. If I'm going to buy foods that have specific flavors, I'd like to taste those flavors. I'd have to eat them individually. I probably eat around 5-7 skittles per handful, but with your suggestion that'd drop to one. On top of that, visual cues are a huge factor in the taste of something. Without the aid of proper coloration, the flavors wouldn't be properly processed by the brain and my enjoyment would likely be diminished. So, with your idea, I'd spend 4x the cash and use roughly 6x more effort and still get less satisfaction than I get from the normal pack. I think I'm going to keep buying the regular pack.
