Christ, people point out reposts all the time. Not necessarily the same image but by god it's the same idea. You deal with it and move the fuck on.

Well, I refuse to deal with it and move on. I mostly dont just go away. I like to sort stuff out. You can´t blame someone for "reposting" as you call it, an idea. Because ideas are the same all over the place. If there is a 10 planel comic and it simply hase slightly changed words, it can be arguably. If there is 10 posts of something and someone suddendly has the same idea (once someone starst with an idea, people start "reposting" it all over the place, and there will be "reposts" of this too) okay you might call this an actual repost. But if someone has an idea, as simple as this and you in particular havent been spammed with that idea too recently, you can assume, the person figured it out on their own. And I havent seen something like this yet and I visit FJ rather regularly. And if a person figures somethign out by itself, it´s not a repost. But I understand, that it is problematic to figure out if a person came up with the idea, or simply copied it. But in that case you can just tell the person, that you saw stuff like it already. Instead of simply go "repost" and then let it be. If you are willing to accuse someone of something, you should be willing to listen them out on their opinion and to talk to them about it.
