Earth's place in the Universe

Captcha code was 69, btw :3.

Leek again at that dot That' s here. That' s home That' s us,
ton it everyine you lave. everyine we knew. everyine you
ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out
their lives. The aggregate of can joy and suffering. thousands
of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines,
every hunter and forager, every here and coward, every
creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant,
every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful
child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every
corrupt politician. every "superstar," every "supreme leader,"
every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there
on a mote of dust suspended in a Sunbeam."
Cad Sagan,

What really marvels me is that scientists are able to control spacecrafts that are millions of kilometers away from Earth. Like seriously, how is it possible!?

By the toll of a billion deaths man has bought his birthright of the earth, and it is his against all comers; it would still be his were the Martians ten times as mighty as they are. For neither do men live nor die in vain.

To bake an apple pie you must first create the universe.

He's another mind blow, or at least for me, Just think about right now you are awake, think coherent thoughts, living your life an such, and as you do there are about 7 billion other people just like you having similar thoughts, all people living different lives along with you all from a collective source so similar yet so different, so much diversity from the most minute change in genes, and then think how pointless and meaningless we are compared to the universe, just like a single atom in a water molecule in a planet made of water, small, insignificant, things thinking we're the epitome of clever, evolved creatures, slowly killing the planet that supported our very existence, I don't know what any of that was supposed to mean, I just kind of typed a load of shit. make of it what you will.
Tldr: Holy fucking shit we're pointless and small and shit

I don't feel insignificant. We are the universe. We, humans, are made up of the very elements that come from exploded stars. All known elements come from exploded stars that scatter their contents throughout the universe, this includes us.

I thought nothing Man Made has ever left the solar system yet, let alone get so far away from us so that we were nothing but a mere pixel?

Rationalism, knowing that the entire exsistence of the human race will be so insignificant that the universe wont notice our passing.

What's the meaning of life? Is here a point to any of this. Even if we find that there is a higher power, all it will do is solidify a singular belief. Even if aliens land on our doorstep tomorrow morning, all we will know is that there is more than us out there. What is the point of it all?
