I think I'm fine not being in his position. He, like most pop singers, is only just a commercial act, he sings songs to make money. Sure he may love singing but he has not control over the song and the direction his sound goes. He is only one of five writers for Baby, which has a chorus that consists of two lines. Plus, at least I am content in knowing that I'm not the idol of millions of adolescent girls who don't really care about me as a person or who I am and really are only using me as a form of hormonal satisfaction to get them through the parts of their lives when they don't have a boyfriend, and I don't get called gay just because of the way I sing or the way I look. Plus his fame is going to be extremely short lived, considering his act is based almost solely on his looks, I really doubt that he is going to be making platinum albums or sell out stadiums to a bunch of pre-pubescent girls when he's 50. I may not have 18 million fans, but I am at a point where I am content with my life, and I see no point in time where I will stop being happy. Bieber, on the other hand, will never know what that feels like.

If you've watched him on Rob Dyrdek's fantasy factory, you'd know he's a douche. But it is safe to say that all this fame has corrupted him

i actually feel bad for people like him. a large majority of singers who get popular at his age get into hardcore drugs and when the industry decides their time is up and stops giving them money, he will be around 30 stuck with an addiction, memories of the only happiness hes ever had and the knowledge no matter what he does, nobody will care for him anymore.

The moment you mentioned he may not be selling records when he's 50, I immediately thought of Michael Jackson. There's a chance he will still sell records, albeit to a different audience.

But Michael Jackson was actually a good artist. He was called the King of Pop for a reason.
