It's hard because you can't hear anything else than people who fucked your mom.

call of duty 4 was great, but they keep releasing the same thing over and over again. so its turned me off from supporting the franchise name.

I think for me its just the formula, I mean if they got a good thing going, which they do, use it, but I just think the few changes they do isnt enough for me to want to buy another one especially when they come out so fast. and I'm talking more on the multiplayer side of things anyway.

Different Titles- That's a really stupid point, of course they're going to have a different name. Different Weapons- The Modern Warfare series had many recurring weapons, and any that were new had very little difference from the rest. Yes, they may look different(and some did not), but it's still the same "type" of gun e.g low fire-rate for long range/ high fire-rate for short range), and in the end, everybody always ends up going for the "best gun". Different Missions- The campaign is new, that's obvious, yet they still have overused cliches and things end up getting predictable, regardless, it's still my favorite part of the game because I'm a sucker for action movies. Different Maps - Assuming that "everyone" is complaining about "the same shit" about all the other things, then they'll become irritated about purchasing new maps for $60, do you understand? Mostly Different characters- They look different, they sound different, they say different things, but their role remains the same (Destined to be killed, destined to be avenged, "Follow" him the entire campaign). As for major characters, refer back to the cliche part. That is a rough summary of why "everyone" keeps saying that Activision is releasing the same stuff.
